Summer is my absolute favorite season of the year! I like to think its because I grew up as a midwest mami and, where I was born, we would be lucky to see more than a couple days in a row of 90° ‘heat’ in the summer LOL! which, to me, is a total joke!
I love the heat! ever since I can remember I have always dreamt of living someplace where it was blazing hot and I could have a suntan year-round! I will say, I do prefer tropical weather over desert weather any day! one thing I am definitely not a fan of is a 4-season state 👀🤣 I despise having only 12-13 weeks of SUMMER and, having to go through 3 whole other seasons before its summer again…… not my preference!

lmao I STILL don’t know what I will do this Summer. I suspect there will be some relaxing outdoors involved. this is the first summer since the pandemic has really ended and life is ‘back to normal’. I guess you could say LOL!
I am always so amazed and inspired by everyone who travels for work with their families. whether it be locally, or far and wide. some people I know will take flights that are nearly a day long from start to finish… thats 24 hours. I know others who literally work in other countries or travel for outreach missions in foreign lands.
one thing about me…. I am NOT THAT GIRLIE lol! I do LOVE to travel. but, the older and wiser I get, the more I appreciate just simply sitting still. as a child and young adult I lived in over 15-20 places, easily! then, I was homeless for over 3 years… with children. safe to say, I’ve had my fair share of enjoyable and enduring experiences in life. 😂
but while life is getting back into its usual groove, I am totally happy just relaxing and enjoying the stability life has to offer me after all these years!
I feel privileged to enjoy my life each day, knowing how stable it has become after so many tumultuous years my children and I endured! and, as much as it’s been something to adjust to, I believe I am finally getting the hang of this ☺️
I am really looking forward to simply spending my summer counting my blessings and continuing to strive towards my goals!
I can’t find a better way to spend this season than to sing praises and dance with joy!
I would like to invite everyone else to do the same! find beauty in the small things and sit back to enjoy even the most quiet moments. when the pace gets too fast, slow it down with a meditation session. and, if its too slow, speed it up with a few leaps of praise at how beautiful and wonderful it is to be ALIVE!
