💖 DIY nail design tutorial! ✨

1. prep nails by etching off any shine, cleansing thoroughly, and applying an even layer of base coat, fully cured. for this press-on set, I am using @KingofNail 5XL Square and Stiletto 123go Full Coverage Soft-gel Extensions❣️~ in addition, I used @Madam_Glam base coat gel 💅🏽 ~ as for my nail lamp, we are using @KiaraSkyNails Beyond Pro Pink Rechargeable Nail Lamp ♥︎
2. start by painting your drooping smiley faces ☺️🙃 this design is totally free-form ~ there’s no wrong way to do it! so, just trust your intuition and have fun 💕 for example, you can make them smaller, or bigger, and you can make them very droopy, or less droopy. everything is totally up to you 😝
3. once you’ve painted your droopy smileys, now you can begin to fill the background. of course, if you would rather have a background laid onto the nails first, you’re totally welcome to do that! for this design I wanted to really put my @SXCCosmetics Gel Nail Art Liners to use! and, luckily, these ones G L O W 🤩
4. on my design, in particular, I then went ahead to draw my eyes and smiley lines 🥰 with @ModelOnes_Official Black Lava Gel Polish, along with the lines between the colors on the background 💚
5. after all of the details are all taken care of, then its time to top coat! 🙌🏾 we are using @Madam_Glam top coat gel for this set! once the top coat is evenly applied and fully cured, I cleanse the nail with an alcohol prep pad
6. now its time to have more fun! we are going to be applying a unichrome powder to the nails, for a rainbow-mirror effect. once applied, then we apply a new even layer of top coat gel, followed by a full cure.
