Speak Life – Define Inspiration

With that, I am delighted to announce our *NEW* Goddess Gang Exclusive! segment!

Throughout this journey, together, we will interact and inspire one another, with the purpose of igniting mass creativity and, essentially, prosper in every aspect of Ourselves and Our Lives! 💛

Speak Life – What Does Speaking Life Mean?

According to TobyMac¹, the term “Speak Life” means, “to walk through life and speak hope, or, love, encouragement, victory, freedom.. Or whatever is necessary, into situations or people that need it.”

And, frankly….

I couldn’t agree more! This is exactly that comes to mind when I consider the term “Speak Life” ♡ In my perspective, to “Speak Life” is to do, speak, think, feel, emulate love at all times, in all ways ~ as, we typically associate love with life, “where there is love, there is life”.

Furthermore, we know that when we refer to “speaking”, this can pertain to one or more types of communication. In an article published on University of The People (www.uopeople.edu)² the types of communication are outlined as follows:

1. Verbal Communication
2. Non-verbal Communication
3. Written Communication
4. Visual Communication
5. Listening

This is what brings me to my belief: “Speak Life” is to do, speak, think, feel, emulate love at all times, in all ways!

Speak Life – How Can We “Speak Life”?

When I consider the many ways of speaking life everyday, I can think of countless ways! Can you?

Well, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, I have to take a moment to do something one of my mentors always does hahaha, and that is: GIVE A DISCLAIMER!

The MOST IMPORTANT person to SPEAK LIFE into will ALWAYS be YOURSELF! YOU! Always!

Can we agree? Because, during my research for this post/discussion today, I took a bit of a disappointing notice to how many articles elaborate on speaking life into others. I want it to be made fundamentally clear that, as it pertains to our Goddess Gang Exclusive! Inspirational (INspirational) Segment, our focus will be primarily directed inward ~ within Ourselves.

Now that we have our disclaimer settled,

I feel safe to proceed in saying, throughout our inward journey of Speaking Life, the many ways to speak life are unlimited, endless, and worth exploring for the rest of our lives!

We can never be too kind to ourselves, or speak too much life into ourselves! And, when we are faced with challenges in our external lives, we can always revitalize ourselves and fight to the finish! 🤩

okay babes…. so, i have to start by letting you all know, please understand how much ily all! LOL because i usually never share my secrets openly 😝

my personal, top-favorite way to Speak Life to myself, is in the mirror 😍😄😇👀

did you know, there is a universally-accepted belief that self-talk with ourselves in the mirror builds stronger self-confidence and provides us with a magnified sense of charisma ♥︎

I am a huge fan of Sims ♥︎ and, if you can relate, then I’m sure you know that your Sim can earn Charisma from having self-talk in the mirror 🪞

well, like much of the gameplay in Sims, this is very true to LIFE! by spending time with ourselves in the mirror, we can see growth from day-to-day in our charisma.

Charisma is defined by Merriam-Webster³ as:

noun

1. a personal magic of leadership arousing special popular loyalty or enthusiasm…
2. a special magnetic charm or appeal.

other ways we can Speak Life…

🦕 be an encouragement to others, live your life as an inspiration and shed your light amongst darkness

🌱 being forgiving of others when they are offensive, try to be kind no matter what

🫂 be understanding, a lot of times misunderstandings are preceded by a miscommunication; try to be understanding others, especially in the midst of confusion

🌻 enjoy picnics with loved ones and reflect on what you’re thankful for

🦄 create magical opportunities by choosing to see the bright side of every situation

🙏🏽 pray, instead of worrying, and, even pray for others when you notice they have worries

🧞‍♀️ choose to let your inner peace dictate happiness, instead of dwelling on things you cannot control
