I was recently inspired to create a nail set inspired by the 808’s & Heartbreaks album by Kanye West. I love the art and creative expressions shown here by Kanye.

Sometimes, I find its easier to express our heartaches, than expressing the things that make us happy and bring us unmeasurable joy. 

As a general rule of thumb…. If I find myself feeling down on myself or any situation, I like to allow myself some room to release those feelings creatively. Because, over time, I have found that bad feelings become good feelings when we pour them into art, and creative expression! Can anyone else relate to that?

With this set, I wasn’t totally sure what direction I wanted to take. I wanted the set to be creative and artistic but I also was super nervous about the hand-drawn nail art! I went with a fairly easy design overall, while still capturing the vibrancy and despair LOL U was looking to incorporate!
